Big Brother is watching, hoping you won’t rate this book. He’s shaking in his boots fearing it’ll expose the dangers of his plan, the plan to diminish the range of thought through the dumbification of the English language. We see it unfolding now with things like “omg”, slang and emojis. That’s just the beginning. Acronyms will replace common words, ones like television, automatic teller machines, Administrative Command Amphibious Forces Pacific Fleet Subordinate Command, and okay. 1984 has passed but we can’t be complacent. Everyone needs to see the dangers of dumbifying the English language, the dangers of Newspeak. To fight totalitarianism and preserve free thought, everyone needs to know about “The ABSees Book Letters Only Edition”.
